Kona slots and Prize Money

The actual number of Kona slots depends on the number of Pro starters for each gender: There will be one slot for up to ten starters and two if there are 11 eleven or more. This means that the women will have one slot. (Note that Sarah Crowley has already secured a slot.) If not more than one of the male Pros on the list won’t start, the men will have two slots for Kona 2021. The total prize purse for Cairns is 40.000 US$, paying 7 deep.

Male Race Participants

The strength of the field is 8% of a typical Kona field.
