As the race has been run on a number of different courses, “course records” are a bit shaky and more an indication of “really fast times”.

What a rip-off! where is brownlee and frodeno?

    • Thorsten August 25, 2017 at 8:18 am #

Brownlee is injured and had a hip operation, Frodo focuses on Kona. Would have loved to see them as well!

  2. David Inglis August 28, 2017 at 8:20 pm #

Great work Thorsten! However I would have Emma Pallant higher than 15th, especially considering her recent form.

    • Talbot Cox August 29, 2017 at 3:01 pm #

Check out Emma last result at a championship caliber event. (Slovakia) The swim will be so incredibly important on this race. It’s a upstream non wetsuit. Athletes like Mel, Jeanie, Emma will struggle.
