70.3 Elsinore 2021 – Analyzing Results

Course Conditions

Elsinore is always a fast course, and this year was even quicker. A very even race made it possible for George Goodwin to post a new male course record, while Kyle Smith (posting the fastest swim and bike splits of the finishers) set a new bike course record (even if by just one second). On the female side, it was a total domination by Lucy Charles-Barclay: She set new course records in all the legs and won by more than five minutes.
