Ironman Wisconsin 2018 – Analyzing Results

IMWisconsinCourse Conditions

As is typical for Wisconsin, conditions were quite slow. A slow swim (adjustment of -2:42, only two athletes were able to swim under an hour) was followed by a rolling bike and a not very fast run.

Linsey Corbin had a fantastic day, she set new bike and overall course records, improving the 2010 times by Gina Crawford by 13 and 15 minutes. Linsey’s 4:59:01 was the first sub-5 hour bike by a female in Wisconsin.
