Challenge Vichy 2013 – Analyzing Results

Race Conditions

This year’s Challenge Vichy was significantly faster than the 2011 race: An pretty fast adjustment of 22:09 as compared to a slow adjustment of -6:15 indicates that there were some course changes.

Male Race Results

Andrej Vistica again improved on his previous race results and won the European championships:

    1. ad 1: Updated Celia’s country. This is always a bit inconsistent in the results, most races use “Country of Residence”. This causes problems for a lot of athletes, e.g. all those living and training for most of the year in the US.

ad 2: What do you mean by “suspicious”? When healthy and fit, Diana is a very strong athlete, who has gone sub-9h before (Austria 2011 with a 4:43 bike split). Therefore, I think her result is legitimate. I look forward to her racing again in a string field (maybe IM Florida?).
