Course Conditions

As always, Wales is one of the slowest courses on the Pro Ironman calendar. This year, winner Franzi Hofmann was the only Pro woman with a sub-10 finish, and she was just 30 seconds off the course record. 

Kona Qualifying

There was only one Kona 2026 Pro slot, which will be offered to winner Franzi Hofmann.

Update: Apparently, I saw an outdated version of the Kona Pro slot assignment. Wales had two slots, the second slot will be awarded to Rosie Wild.
