For the last few years, the PTO World Rankings have used an algorithm based on my race analysis, creating a strong overlap of their Rankings to my Ratings. Since the start of 2023, the PTO Worlds Rankings are based on new points (details can be found here), putting a stronger emphasis on the prestige or tier of a race and the finishing position. Therefore, it makes sense again to update my Ratings focused on the performance on full-distance races.

    similarly Javier Gomez
  • Sebastian Kienle – dropped out of the Top 10 (now #15),
    similarly Cody Beals (now #33), Ben Hoffman (now #17), Chris Leiferman (now #26), Tim O’Donnell (now #19)
  • Gustav Iden – would be the #1-ranked athlete, but has only two finishes so far
  • Clement Mignon – also only two finishes, would be #10
