TTR Rating Report 2012As last year, I’ve put together a Rating Report analyzing the results of last year’s long distance racing season.

The report contains the following information:

  • My “Long Distance Trivia Questions” and answers
  • The TOP 10 overall Ratings and for each leg
  • The TOP 10 performances of the 2012 season
  • The 2012 Money List
  • A discussion on the KPR and qualifying strategies
  • Course Ratings
  • plus a lot more statistics.

If you are just a little bit interested in IM-distance triathlons, this is a must-read! The feedback from my “beta-readers” has been very positive.

Long Distance Trivia Question 8

My last question had quite a discussion on Twitter (and I still haven’t seen what I consider the right answer) – but here’s already number eight:

This year, we saw two new world best bike times in a long distance triathlon by Andy Starykowicz in IM Florida (4:04:39) and Caroline Steffen in Melbourne (4:35:29). Who had the world best times before them?

  1. Men (name, time, race)
  2. Women (name, time, race)

Please post your guesses as comments on this blog or tweet @ThRadde. The answers to all questions can be found by searching through the posts on this site, smart googling or in my upcoming 2012 Rating Report. Long Distance Trivia Question 7

Here is the next of my Trivia Questions – we’re up to number seven:

There are some athletes that race very often in a long-distance race. Among the participants in Kona this year, who has the most finishes during his/her career?

  1. Men (should be pretty easy)

  2. Women (trickier, as prolific racers Hillary Biscay and Belinda Granger didn’t qualify)

Please post your guesses as comments on this blog or tweet to @ThRadde. The answers to all questions can be found by searching through the posts on this site, smart googling or in my upcoming 2012 Rating Report.
